MANAGER Joe McElligott is refusing to put pressure on his South Park side to reach the Ryman League Division One South play-offs in their debut campaign.
The Ryman League new boys currently sit ninth, just five points off the last play-off spot but with games in hand over many of the teams above them.
But despite their impressive start to life at Step 4, boss McElligott is not getting carried away.
"The play-offs is a different kettle of fish and what we will focus on is just getting as many points as we can," he said. "We will take it one game at a time; step by step. We have Whitstable and Carshalton before Christmas and then a very tough January where we will play four of the top five sides so we just want to try to get points where we can.
"We want to do the best we can, we won't be looking just to be safe, that's not an option. The play-offs is maybe something we would aspire to but at the end of the day we just want to give a good account of ourselves in our first season in the league and establish ourselves. We want to be part of the Ryman League set up for many years to come."
