A MAN has pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm following a row at a football match in Horley.
The incident occurred at around 2pm on January 13 last year, at Horley FC's Thornton Close ground, following an under-17s match between the home club and Epsom and Ewell.
A man in his 40s suffered facial injuries after being hit in the face and was taken to East Surrey Hospital in Redhill for treatment.
Adam Jason Holgate, 44, of Leatherhead Road in Bookham, pleaded guilty yesterday (December 17) at Guildford Crown Court to GBH. He is due to be sentenced at the same court on January 23
