A WITNESS appeal has been launched after a man was assaulted outside a Redhill snooker club.
The incident occurred at around 1.20am on Saturday (December 13) outside Q's snooker hall in Queensway.
Officers say an altercation broke out between the victim, a man in his 20s, and a group of men at the location.
The man received a cut to his head following the assault and was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital. He was later discharged.
Investigating officer PC Andy Bridgman, said: "I believe there would have been many people in the vicinity when the altercation and subsequent assault occurred and I would appeal to these people to come forward and speak with police.
