A HORLEY running club has raised more than £100 for a cancer charity.
Horley Harriers completed a "Movember" bleep test in Vicarage Lane at Horley Tennis Club. Members of the club all donned moustaches and completed the fitness exercise, which consists of a shuttle run.
At each level of the test, participants are given less time to complete a set distance.
Dani Christmas, one of the group's coaches, said: "It was a really successful evening and obviously we were delighted that the tennis club had allowed us to use the flood-lit courts.
"The bleep test was something a bit different for the runners as it's a test they may have done at school but probably haven't done since then.
"We had a big crowd encouraging those who were still going. It was a fun evening but at the end of the day it was there to raise money which we did."
The total raised for the night stands at £115 and with donations still coming in the club is expecting to raise around £150 for Prostate UK is expected to reach about £150.
