MERSTHAM and Chipstead both recorded impressive wins in the Ryman League Division One South this afternoon (Saturday).
The Moatsiders won 3-0 at home against Whitstable Town, with Aaron Rhule, Fabio Saraiva and Tommy Hutchings all on target in the second half.
Meanwhile, goals from Dan Moody and Tre Mitford helped Chipstead to a 2-1 win at struggling East Grinstead Town.
Elsewhere, there were draws for Whyteleafe, Redhill and South Park, at Folkestone Invicta, Hastings United and at home to Tooting & Mitcham United respectively.
Leafe drew 0-0 away at Folkestone, while Redhill were pegged back at the Pilot Field as Taser Hassan's second half strike cancelled out Connor French's early goal for the Lobsters.
And Park fought back from 2-0 down at home to Tooting, with Chris Smith and Jack Watts on target to rescue a point in Joe McElligott's 300th game in charge of South Park.
