THREE men have been arrested after reports of a robbery in Reigate on Tuesday.
Officers were called at about 3.15pm after a man in his late teens was approached by two men while he walked along a dirt track on Doods Road. The men tried to engage him in conversation before threatening him and pushing him over and stealing his phone, leaving him with cuts and bruises.
It is believed local Reigate officer Kevin Stimson, responding to a description of the men, recognised them and gave chase along with two other officers. The men were arrested in Chart Lane, Reigate and taken into custody.
