THE MOTHER of murdered Caterham boy Breck Bednar has said she will 'never stop missing' her son.
In an emotional tribute after the case, Lorin LaFave, Breck's mother, said: "Breck was an amazing, beautiful boy. I will never stop missing my Breck."
Holding back tears, she held hands with Breck's father Barry and added: "My heart is broken. I have lost my Breck and will never be the same."
She thanked the Caterham community, in particular Caterham School and Saint Bede's School in Redhill, where her son was a pupil. Both schools have recently raised money for the Breck Bednar Memorial Foundation, an appeal in his memory which will see funds used to support computer education for young people, including the responsible use of technology.
Earlier today at Chelmsford Crown Court, 19-year-old Lewis Daynes admitted the killing of Breck, who died from a fatal stab wound to the neck in February in a flat in Grays, Essex.
Daynes is due to be sentenced on January 12.
