BBC newsreader Nicholas Owen opened a Christmas fair on Wednesday last week.
The event at The Grasshopper Inn in Westerham raised more than £6,500 for Cancer Research UK.
Mr Owen, a cancer survivor who lives in Reigate, cut a ribbon to open the fair.
The 50 stalls ranged from Christmas cards and homemade produce to candles, jewellery, clothes, ceramics and locally-produced food and drink.
The Westerham, Oxted, Brasted and Crockham Hill Cancer Research UK Committee organised the event.
