SOUTH Park were taught a lesson Tuesday night, losing 5-0 at home to title-chasers Folkestone Invicta.
Paul Booth and Ian Draycott scored a brace each and Jordan Wright added another as Park suffered their first heavy defeat in the Ryman League Division One South.
Merstham narrowed the gap on local rivals Whyteleafe after beating them at the Moatside for the second Tuesday night running. After winning last week's Surrey Senior Cup tie 2-1, the Moatsiders went one better for this week's league game, beating Leafe 2-0.
Taurean Roberts opened the scoring before Tommy Hutchings wrapped up the points.
Hythe Town came from behind to beat Redhill 4-1. The Lobsters had a half-time lead thanks to Javlon Campbell, however the Kent side scored four times in the second half to secure the points.
Lingfield lost 4-2 to Erith Town in the Southern Counties East League, with an own goal and Harry Sintim the scorers.
