A 17-year-old who sent a text boast that he had kidnapped another youth at Epsom station has been sentenced in court.
He was given a two year rehabilitation and supervision order, ordered to carry out 40 hours' unpaid work and pay £500 compensation after being convicted of false imprisonment and robbery/.
Threatening their victim with what appeared to be a knife handle, he and two others forced their 17-year-old victim to get off a train at Clapham Junction before making him withdraw £80 from a cashpoint, Blackfriars Crown Court heard on Thursday.
A 23-year-old and an 18-year-old, who also cannot be named for legal reasons, were jailed for 33 months each for their part in the crime.
