FOUR men were injured following a "violent" street brawl outside a Surrey railway station involving a snooker cue and cricket bat.

Police were called to Chertsey Road, Woking, at 9.40pm last Friday night to reports a group were fighting in the street.

Three men were arrested at the scene and a fourth was arrested a short time later.

A snooker cue and cricket bat, believed to be used as weapons, were found in the road and all four men were treated for injuries. One suffered a suspected broken coccyx.

The men aged 19, 21, 25 and 28 and all from Woking have been released on bail until December 9.

Witnesses to the altercation or events leading up to it are urged to call Surrey Police on 101.

PC Hayden Barwick said: "This was a violent incident in a busy area of Woking which I am sure would have been a frightening experience for anyone who may have witnessed it while out enjoying their Friday night.

"We are keen to hear from anybody who may have seen what happened or has any information that could help the investigation."
