A THIEF struck at Redhill's Co-op store this morning.
Surrey Police confirmed inquiries are ongoing into an incident at the store in Station Road at about 10.30am following a report of shoplifting.
Some businesses in the area received an email asking if they had seen a person dressed in a white t-shirt and "possibly beige shorts" running up Warwick Road or a white van parked by the Marshal Arts Centre following the incident.
It is currently not known what was taken. Staff in the shop declined to comment on the incident and there was no sign of a disturbance.
