THREE teenage boys have been charged with arson with intent to endanger life following a fire at a block of flats in Horley earlier this year.
The incident occurred on the evening of March 27 at Elbourne House in Lumley Road. It is believed to have started when a roll of carpet was set alight in the stairwell.
No-one was hurt during the incident but properties in the vicinity were evacuated while emergency crews attended the scene.
On Saturday a 14-year-old boy from Horley and two 15-year-old boys from Smallfield were charged. They have been released on police bail to attend Guildford Youth Court on October 8.
