A BED and breakfast in Hookwood needed to be evacuated last night after a fuse board overheated, causing a small fire.
Two engines from Horley and Reigate fire stations were called to Hookwood Lodge, in Reigate Road, at 9.15pm to find the small electrical item on fire and light smoke drifting through the property.
The 10 occupants of the B & B were evacuated while firefighters isolated the board, which controls and distributes electricity, and ventilated the building.
There was no damage to the property and no one was injured during the incident.
