Greg Andrews was the first to score a league goal on the new Whyteleafe pitch in a scintillating victory over Ramsgate.
Leafe were well on top throughout the first half and more than deserved their 1-0 half time lead - Andrews' strike coming after 40 minutes.
The second half was different and as Whyteleafe seemed to tire, Ramgate began to find their legs and press for an equaliser.
But this never came and Whyteleafe claimed their first Ryman points for two years.
