EXPECT heavy rain throughout Sunday as the South East feels the brunt of the remains of Hurricane Bertha.
That is the warning from the Met Office which has issued a yellow weather warning for the area.
A notice on the Met Office website warns of the potential for "severe" weather with chances of flooding but admitted there remains uncertainty over the forecast.
The notice said: "The public should be aware of the risk of flooding due to heavy rain as well as strong winds."
In places, more than 50mm of rain could fall.
A statement from the Met Office's chief forecaster said: "Warm air associated with the remains of Hurricane Bertha now possesses the characteristics of a mid-latitude depression.
"This feature is expected to deepen on Saturday night and Sunday morning as it moves into the UK, with a low pressure centre crossing southern England on Sunday."
