ARSENAL are hoping to follow up the signing of Alexis Sanchez with that of French striker Loic Remy, from Queens Park Rangers.
Remy, who spent last season on loan at Newcastle United, has been linked with a move to the Gunners for much of the summer, and is valued at £8m.
And reports suggest that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is hopeful of concluding a deal to sign the 27-year-old in the near future, following on from the arrival of Chilean forward Sanchez from Barcelona.
