Police are concerned for a young woman after she went missing from East Surrey Hospital in Redhill on Sunday.
Zoe Tatton, 21, from Worthing, who suffers from depression, disappeared from the hospital at about 9.30am.
PC Mark Green of Sussex Police said: "There is a real concern for Zoe.
"She may be in the Redhill area as this was the last sighting of her, or she may have returned to Sussex.
"We urge Zoe to contact us to say she is OK.
"If anyone recognises her and knows where she is they are asked to contact police on 101."
