Manchester United have been long term admirer of Arda Turan but reports from Turkey suggest Premier League rivals Chelsea could be set to snap up the Atletico Madrid midfielder from under Louis Van Gaal's nose.
Rumours have been rife in Spain that Turan is keen to leave Atletico this summer and his representatives are thought to have been locked in talks with Manchester United for months.
However, it seems Chelsea are set to hijack any deal, offering the increased financial rewards the Red Devils had been unwilling to agree to.
