MICKLEFIELD School in Reigate transformed its gym into a circus ring for the day.
The primary school was paid a visit by Blooming Circus, which held an entertaining workshop teaching children circus skills.
Pupils from all year groups were taught a variety of skills, including juggling, flower sticks, diablo, scarf-throwing, plate-spinning and magic tricks.
Teacher Roz Moseling said: "The day started off with the Year 6 children learning circus skills. They were given bow ties and red sparkly hats so they could be more noticeable when acting as 'helpers' to some of the younger children. The children really threw themselves into the spirit of things."
The event, on May 23, was organised by the Friends of Micklefield.
