COLIN FORD has been jailed for 10 years for raping a woman in a Whyteleafe park.
The 59-year-old, of Fernhurst Road, Croydon, denied raping a woman in her 20s in Whyteleafe Recreation Ground on May 18 last year.
He was found guilty of one charge of rape after a nine-day trail at Guildford Crown Court.
Ford was also placed on the sex offenders register and also made subject of a sex offences prevention order.
The retrial was ordered after another jury failed to reach a verdict in December.
