SURREY is set to enjoy some beautiful warm sunny weather over the next five days - and it could get as hot as June by the end of the week.
The Met Office said today that the recent spell of showery weather - with thunder in places - has moved away. Replacing it will be an area of high pressure which will draw up warmth from the south.
It will be fine, too, with plenty of blue skies, although there is a chance of some cloud at times.
Temperatures today (Wednesday) could rise to 68F (20C)during the late afternoon and as high as 73F (23C) by the weekend.
The summer-like weather is bound to see large numbers of visitors flocking to the county's beauty spots, such as Box Hill, Newlands Corner, Leith Hill, Poleseden Lacey and Reigate Hill over the next few days.
And after the wettest winter on record, there is bound to be an up-beat mood in the county as we enjoy an early taste of summer.
