DISGRACED publicist Max Clifford has been dumped as a vice president of Lingfield charity Young Epilepsy.
Yesterday, Clifford was found guilty of eight indecent assaults on teenage girls and young women which stretched over a period of almost 20 years.
He was found not guilty on two further counts and the jury could not reach a decision on another.
Today, Young Epilepsy became the third charity – after Woking & Sam Beare Hospices and Shoooting Star CHASE – to dismiss Clifford as a celebrity ambassador.
As a vice president, Clifford's role was to help spread the word about Epilepsy and help raise awareness of the charity's work.
Carol Long, Chief Executive at Young Epilepsy, said, "Young Epilepsy has a number of vice presidents with an interest in epilepsy who donate their time to the charity to raise awareness of the condition.
"Max Clifford was appointed Vice President in 2011 and has conducted occasional interviews with the media about his own experiences of living with epilepsy.
"Young Epilepsy suspended Mr Clifford's role as a vice president when he was charged and is now terminating his position following the outcome of his recent trial."
Clifford, once one of the most powerful PR men in the world, could face jail following the outcome of his trial.
