Floral tributes have been laid at the scene in Oxted where two people died in a road crash yesterday.
More than 20 bouquets of flowers, together with an Arsenal Football Club scarf, are festooned by the spot where the man and woman, both in their 20s, lost their lives in Titsey Road.
The pair - named as Lee and Hannah - died after their black Renault Clio collided with a silver Toyota.
One message reads: "Words cannot express how shocked we are, nor take away the pain.
"We little knew this morning that God would call your names."
Another says: "Lee, rest in peace, look after her up there."
And a third says: "To two of the nicest people who always said hallo and checked that I was OK.
"You will be missed hugely and never forgotten."
The accident happened on a sharp bend in the road, halfway between Bluehouse Lane and Pilgrims Lane.
