EAST Surrey's top tots and bonnie babies have emerged from among the hundreds who entered our hotly-contested Baby and Toddler of the Year awards.
The winners have now claimed their prizes after more than 3,000 votes were cast by readers.
Top of the tots was seven-month-old Edie Mae Burridge, of Addison Road, Caterham.
Her smiling picture, showcasing her blue eyes and a cute blue bow in her hair, received the most reader votes.
Delighted dad Jonny Burridge, 24, said: "We are really proud of her. I have always known that she was beautiful.
"She is definitely daddy's little girl."
Edie Mae received a £200 gift card to use in the Belfry shopping centre in Redhill, plus a 16in by 12in block print of her winning picture.
Four other youngsters were announced as close runner-ups: 16-month-old Kezia Celestino, of High Street, Bletchingley; three-year-old Lewis Prosser, of Victoria Close, Horley; and siblings Hansika Vinothan, two years and nine months, and seven-month-old Hemesh Vinothan, of High Street, Dorking.
The siblings' mum Wasama Vinothan said: "We are so happy that they have done so well.
"We have always thought they were pretty, but now we know they are attractive children.
"We are really proud of them."
The runners-up received a £100 Belfry gift card, plus a 14in by 10in block print of their winning picture.
Sonrisa Photography, based at The Belfry, took angelic pictures of 243 youngsters who entered our competition.
One of the company's photographers, Lisa Bennett, said: "I love taking these pictures – it was stressful, but amazing."
Kim Prime, spokesman for The Belfry which also sponsored the event, said she thought the competition was "fantastic" this year. She added: "Everyone loves the competition.
"It is always really well received and I think it is getting bigger every year. It is a real community competition."
