SOAP star Shane Richie is in the running to replace Sir Bruce Forsyth on Strictly Come Dancing, if the bookies are to be believed.
The Lower Kingswood resident is 14/1 with Paddy Power to step into Brucie's shoes on the hit Saturday night BBC show.
Showbiz legend Sir Bruce, 86, last week announced he'd be quick-stepping aside as Strictly host, after a decade in the ballroom.
Shane, 50, has never appeared on the show - either as a host or celebrity dancer.
But he was last year quoted as saying he'd fancy the Strictly gig, reportedly telling the Daily Star: "I'd love Bruce's job on Strictly.
"It's the only job that could ever take me away from EastEnders."
The Alfie Moon actor's TV credits include hosting 1990s quiz shows Lucky Numbers and Win, Lose or Draw.
Claudia Winkleman is the odds-on favourite to be the new Strictly host, with the likes of Graham Norton and John Barrowman also said to be in the running.
