SOUTH Park ended Cove's 12 match unbeaten run in the league with a hard earned 2-1 victory at Oak Farm. Park took the lead in the 15th minute when Lavery volleyed home from 15 yards after Macleaod's cross was only half cleared.
Park incresaed their lead in the 73 minute after good work from Macleod and Chris Smith saw the ball come to Pullin who held off his marker, turned and shot across the keeper with the ball nestling in the far corner.
Park's two goal lead was short lived as Paris converted a penalty for Cove in the 78th minute.
A frantic end to the game saw Park hold out and claim the three points which keeps them 13 points clear at the top as their title rivals Epsom & Ewell and Camberley Town both won.
Park now have three successive home games starting on Saturday when Molesey are the visitors to Whitehall Lane. This is followed by the visit of Wembley on Tuesday (08/04) and Camberley Town (12/04).
