TOTTENHAM are considering a surprise move to bring Steven Caulker back to White Hart Lane, according to reports.
The Guardian are reporting that the Cardiff man, who left Spurs in the summer, is wanted by Tim Sherwood with Jan Vertonghen and Younes Kaboul heading for the exit door.
Vertonghen is reportedly attracting interest from Spanish giants Barcelona, while Kaboul's contract runs out this summer.
As such, Spurs are likely to need cover at the back, with Caulker, who they sold for £9m less than 12 months ago, is thought to be at the top of that list.
Elsewhere, Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keen on signing the Chelsea duo of Oscar and Eden Hazard, while Inter Milan are set to step up their pursuit of Fernando Torres.
