MORE than £10,000 was raised from Thursday's charity day at Surrey National Golf Club.
Over 140 players and guests were involved in the event at the club off Rook Lane in Chaldon.
A silent auction and a main auction, together with playing fees, swelled the funds.
The fun golf event had different challenges at each hole, including a general knowledge quiz session.
Proceeds will be split between The Alzheimer's Society and The National Autistic Society.
