No further action will be taken by police after a horse at Nutfield Marsh had to be put down with suffering serious injuries.
The animal had been repeatedly kicked, causing extensive injuries, according to police.
Two men in their 30s and a 15-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty.
They were released on police bail until last Thursday, but now police have said no further action will be taken against the trio.
