Four guitars have been stolen from a Merstham music store in a late-night break-in.
The burglary happened at around 1.40am on Monday.
Two men gained access to Newtons Music on Merstham High Street by smashing the front window.
Four guitars worth several thousand pounds were taken during the break-in and the offenders were seen fleeing the scene carrying them in the direction of The Feathers Hotel.
A Surrey Police spokesman said, said: "We believe this was a targeted offence with the guitars either being taken for the offender's personal use or stolen to order."
The intruders are described as black. One was stocky with afro hair, who was wearing a light coloured top and dark coloured bottoms.
