SKIPPER Zack King demanded his team not make "fools" of themselves as they face title-chasing Medway in front of their biggest crowd of the season.
Saturday is Warlingham's annual Golden Oldies event, where former players come together for a meal before watching the first team play, and after a disappointing season so far, King wants his side to put on a good display for the crowd.
"The pressure is definitely off for Saturday but I don't think anyone expects us to get a result against Medway," King admitted. "However, knowing this team, this is exactly the sort of game where everything could come together and we pull off a random win.
"We're also welcoming five or six players back, which should help. It's our Golden Oldies event and we will want to put on a good performance for the crowd.
"We certainly don't want to make fools out of ourselves in front of the biggest crowd of the season."
Warlingham slipped to their 11th London Two South East defeat of the season on Saturday, going down 33-12 to Aylesford Bulls, and King believes going five weeks without a game took its toll.
"It was a really frustrating game for us," he admitted. "We always knew it was going to be a tough game, and be quite close, but they took a slight lead into half-time after scoring very much against the run of play.
"Then we just seemed to run out of gas towards the end of the second half.
"We were also potentially a little bit broken, but I think really the weeks without a game meant we just ran out of puff."
Warlingham now have six games to save their London leagues status, and King insists he does not want to see the team go down on his watch.
"When we talked about aims for the season I said I wanted a top-five finish, and that obviously isn't going to happen," he said.
"The main thing is now, we certainly don't want to not be in the London leagues next season."
