A SEARCH is under way for a missing Dorking schoolgirl.
Nicole Kenway, a Year 11 pupil at The Priory School in West Bank has not been seen since yesterday afternoon.
The 15-year-old attended a doctor's appointment in South Street at 4pm but has not been seen since.
Desperate with worry, family and friends have been looking for her through the night.
Her dad Dom said her disappearance was "totally out of character".
Nicole had some bags with her when she attended the doctors.
"Apparently she told the doctor she was going for a sleepover, but she hasn't told anyone, none of her mates know about it," said Mr Kenway, of Flint Hill Close.
"We have been driving around Dorking all night, checking parks but no-one's heard anything. It is just the not knowing.
"It is totally out of character."
Mr Kenway had expected to pick Nicole up after she did an hour's work at the town's Princess Alice Hospice charity shop last night, but she texted him during the day to say her friend's dad was picking her up.
Nicole is described as 5 ft 3 ins, slim, with long brown hair. It is thought she had changed out of her school uniform and was wearing a navy blue duffle coat and faded blue jeggings.
Anyone who has seen Nicole is asked to call Surrey Police on 101.
