MANCHESTER City boss Manuel Pellegrini has apologised for his outburst following his side's 2-0 defeat to Barcelona on Tuesday.
City lost the first leg of the Champions League tie against the Spanish giants, with Martin Demichelis seeing red for a foul on Lionel Messi, which led to a penalty that the Argentinian scored to give Barcelona the lead.
Dani Alves then added a second late on to put Barcelona in control of the tie going into the second leg at the Nou Camp.
But after the game, Pellegrini claimed that Swedish official Jonas Eriksson had favoured the Spanish side, criticising some of his decisions in the game.
His comments are being investigated by Uefa, but Pellegrini has today apologised for his actions, adding that he was frustrated and angry after the game, adding that what he said after the game was not what he thinks.
