SOUTH Park put the disappointment of last week's cup defeat behind them with a 6-2 victory away at Ash United.
Joe Jackson put South Park in front in the sixth minute latching on to a Lavery through ball and firing home from 20 yards.
Ash were awarded a penalty ain the 13th minute howeveer Wastell saved low to his left.
The hosts levelled the scores a minute later with an unchallenged header at the far post from a left wing free kick.
Chris Smith replaced the injured jackson after 35 minutes and his influence inon the game was to prove pivotal to Park's success.
The home side took the lead on 42 minutes with a fine run and shot from 20 yards from their centre forward.
Six minutes into the second period Wastell in the Park goal made an outstanding one handed save high to his right to keep the defecit to one.
Chris Smith tapped home form close range on 57 minutes to level the scores.
Two minutes later that man Smith was at it again this time volleying home David's cross to put Park in front.
Lavery, commanding as ever in the air, got his name on the score sheet in the 65th minute when the ball broke to him and he shot past the keeper from ten yards.
Park's fifth came from an Ash goal kick which went straight to Chris Smith which he buried form 18 yards.
Smith scored his fourth and Park's sixth with nine minutes remaining when he fired home a cross from 14 yarsd to take his tally for the season to 32 goals in 31 appearances in all competitions.
Park travel to Cove on Saturday before entertaining Wembley at Whitehall Lane on Tuesday.
