ENTERTAINMENT veteran Lionel Blair was one of the surprise names to enter the Big Brother house last night.
The iconic reality TV show kicked off again on Channel 5 and Banstead resident Mr Blair was among the 12 contestants to enter the show.
He will spend the next few weeks with his every action broadcast to viewers, along with Blue singer Lee Ryan, The Only Way Is Essex star Sam Faiers, boxer Evander Holyfield and controversial comedian Jim Davison.
Before he entered the house Mr Blair was handcuffed to Made in Chelsea star Ollie Locke - whose name he had to double check.
At 82 the former choreographer and variety show star is the oldest housemate and told host Emma Willis he was ready to be the father of the house.
But he got stuck straight into the action disapproving of American model/actress Jasmine Waltz's drunken antics before branding her acting career a "load of ********."
