WHEN Alex Corps does a fundraising bungee jump next month, he will certainly stand out from the crowd.
The 22-year-old will catch the eye not only because he is hurtling towards the ground at breakneck speed - but also because of his brightly coloured beard.
Alex, of Foxon Lane, Caterham, will be raising money for the Arc Arts Centre in Caterham where he is the administration manager.
So far he has been pledged about £200 in sponsorship for his death-defying stunt in Brighton on Saturday, September 7.
He said: "I like dying my beard different colours for a bit of fun.
"I've had it coloured red, blonde and pink.
"For the bungee jump it will be green.
"People seem to enjoy it.
"I've had some strange looks, and one colleague thought my white beard made me look like a Smurf."
