AS PART of the celebrations to mark Reigate and Redhill's 150th anniversary as a municipal borough, a film is being shown which was made 50 years ago.
The archive footage shows the events held in 1963 to mark the borough's centenary.
The organisers of the film show, in Redhill's Harlequin Theatre on Monday, September 9, wish to contact anyone who thinks – or knows – they feature in the film.
If you, or others you know, were involved in the special lacrosse match in April 1963, the Borough Sports, Donkey Derby, Battlebridge Athletics Trophy Meeting or Reigate and Redhill Carnival in June, the Scouts' Operation Touchdown, Veteran Car Rally or English Folk Dance Festival in July, and were in front of the cameras, let us know.
The organisers have tracked down the carnival queen for that year, Margaret Kear, who hopes to be present at the Harlequin on September 9, but they are also keen to contact her assistants Jo Heasman and Eileen Richmond.
The film was shot by the North Downs Cinematograph Society and was seen by hundreds of people in 1963, at a series of public showings.
Please write in with details and we will forward correspondence to the organisers of this year's "150" events.
