BUNTING will be swapped for babygros this weekend in celebration of the most anticipated birth of the year.
Mums from Brockham Baby and Toddler Group have been collecting the miniature garments for weeks, and the results will be on display ready for the village's fair from Friday evening.
The timing of the annual fair has coincided with the expected arrival of the royal baby, and the group is aiming to collect enough babygros to create a giant "washing line" to stretch around the entire village green.
Angela Lane, one of the mums behind the idea, said: "Once they are all pegged up they will create a colourful spectacle. It will certainly be eye-catching."
After the event, the babygros will be donated to charity.
