A "GOOD" rating has been achieved by Warlingham School following its Ofsted inspection last month.
The school watchdog inspectors concluded that students were achieving well, making good progress in the key subjects.
The number of pupils with a percentage pass rate for five or more GCSE A*-C grades including English and mathematics was higher than the national average.
Ofsted also concluded teaching is usually good and sometimes outstanding, the school is led very well and pupils' behaviour is good, with a very positive climate for learning in lessons.
Suggested areas for improvement included teachers planning work that best matches individual pupils' needs, and ensuring marking is carried out regularly.
