A MAN'S body has been found in the woods in Caterham.
Police found the body in Coulsdon Common near to Cromwell Road, Caterham, on Wednesday afternoon.
A spokesman for Surrey police said the death was being treated as unexplained but they did not believe there were any suspicious circumstances.
She said police had been called to the area at around 5.05pm on Wednesday to "reports of a concern for safety of a man at the location".
She added: "Officers attended the scene where they subsequently discovered the body of a man.
"A file will be prepared and passed to the coroner in due course."
No details were immediately available as to the man's age.
